The students were encouraged to develop their own ideas by getting exposure to real life scenarios and many other ideas. Design and systems thinking were introduced to understand a real life context better. The idea was to think about designing games based on real life experiences and bringing appropriate elements to convert them into elements of the narrative of the game. They gathered data, did extensive research and tried to connect the dots about their chosen areas of inquiry after identifying an issue or a problem that they face in their lives. For this ethnographic research, oral history methodologies and design research tools were used.
